Dates
The mastercourse commences on Monday 31st March and concludes on Sunday 6th April, 2025.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by 1st February 2025.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of £150 (GBP), in the form of a bank transfer or money order, should be paid to New Virtuosi. It should be accompanied by this application form and sent to the above address by 1st February, 2025. The Application Fee will be credited to the general Mastercourse fee.
Mastercourse Fee
The cost of participation in the Mastercourse is £1,400 (GBP), which will cover tuition, accommodation, masterclasses, concerts, Dalcroze, social activities and transport to concerts. The balance of £1,250 (GBP), in the form of a bank transfer should be paid upon notification of acceptance to the Mastercourse, and no later than 15th February, 2025.
Refunds
There will be no refunds of any kind after 15th March, 2025. Should an applicant have to cancel his/her participation in the Mastercourse prior to that date, a cancellation fee of £600 will be debited from the total Mastercourse Fee.
Audition
The applicants should forward an audition recording of two contrasting pieces by different composers and in different styles. This should be recorded in a media file in a well known format supported by Windows Media Player or through a link to Youtube.
Repertoire
Submit a list of pieces for study during the Mastercourse. Final date for submitting changes to the list: 1st March, 2025.
Letter of Recommendation
A letter of recommendation from your present teacher or a well known musician with whom you have collaborated recently should be sent with this application.
CV/Photograph
A short CV of 100 words and a high-resolution photograph should be submitted. These will be used for concert programmes during the Mastercourse.
Insurance
Each participant is responsible for personal medical insurance, civil liability, accident, risk and personal belongings, including insurance of his/her instrument.
