London-based Japanese pianist Miho Kawashima is a graduate of Universität Mozarteum, The Royal College of Music and The Yehudi Menuhin School. Her numerous concerts include performances in Japan, Holland, Turkey, Estonia, France, Belgium and Switzerland, well as prestigious venues within London, including the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, St James’ Palace, St. John Smith's Square, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Steinway Hall. Her most influential teachers are Ruth Nye, a student of Claudio Arrau, and Pavel Gililov; she has also taken part in masterclasses with renowned musicians including John Lill, the Beaux Arts Trio and Sir Colin Davis.

A passionate chamber musician and pedagogue, she is currently a Staff Pianist at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and performs as a duo with her sister, Kana Kawashima (Scottish Chamber Orchestra violinist) and Ella Rundle (Philharmonia cellist).
